bible verse tonight

Deuteronomy 7:12-15If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the LORD your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your forefathers. He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land that he swore to your forefathers to give you. You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor any of your livestock without young. The LORD will keep you free from every disease.

Wow. As I was looking up my daily bible verse today this is what came to me. I immediately thought of all the troubles going on in the world today. I couldnt help but think that God was trying to tell me "Okay Get this post out there." We are living in a world where people do not follow the laws of the Lord. He plainly states that He will keep you free from every disease and that none of your men or women will be childless. Wow. I know many people aflicted with disease and a few that are childless. These people did not ask for what is being stowed upon them. I do not believe that God is punishing them in anyway at all. I believe that these are special people that God is using to show us that we as a nation are not following our shepard. Look at oil for example. Our gas prices are outrageous...and soon to be even higher. God promises us that he will provide new oil for us if we just follow him. If everyone would just follow his word this whole world would be in a much better shape!

Also know that God promises us that he will  not put more than we can handle on us. My realy great friend Pam sings this song called "The Potter knows the clay" in church. This is a very inspirational song and I hope you enjoy it.

This post is not to say that if you are going through hard times that it is a result from you not following gods word. This post is just me thinking.

Prayer request for tonight go out to: Kayce Renfroe, Traci Lynn steely, Matt and Jessica Terry, Racesy Anderson, Lisa Hamm, Tabitha Morrow, the people in Japan, our country.
